Acoustics interaction in a complex piping network with multiple pulsatile sources

چکیده

The interactions between multiple pulsatile sources and the acoustic eigenmodes are analysed to elucidate influence of source characteristics contrasting phase differences on response in a liquid-filled complex piping network with branches. For illustration, two reciprocating pumps operating two-branched using one-dimensional linear model. lead enhanced or suppressed responses depending spatial separation their differences. field measurements from sweep driving frequency mono-ethylene-glycol (MEG) pump module three-branched analysed. model captures approximate resonance profile measurement data. presence plane wave attenuation practical case is influenced by losses associated pipe fittings.
